Dario Solari began his career at a very early age performing in important theaters all around the world, such as: the Welsh National Opera ( Il Trovatore, Pique Dame), the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Carmen), the Opera in Rome (La Traviata- a Franco Zeffirelli production), the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse (La Bohème), the Vlamsee Opera in Antwerp (Don Carlo), the Savonlinna Opera Festival (Lucia di Lammermoor), at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, Chile (Un Ballo in MascheraandMacbeth). Among his recent engagements, it is worth mentioning:Don Carlo with Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic; Conte di Luna inIl Trovatorein Ravenna and then on tour in important theatres in Italy, Cristina Mazzavillani Muti directing; Macbethfor the opening night season at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome under the baton of Riccardo Muti; Le Nozze di Figaro in Cardiff; Attila at the Terme di Caracalla in Rome; Belisario (title role) for the opening night at the Bergamo Musica Festival.
