Dario Solari - Sharpless
Mr Solari began his career at a very early age performing in important theaters
all around the world, such as: the Welsh National Opera (Il Trovatore, Pique Dame),
the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Carmen), the Opera in Rome (La Traviata-
Franco Zeffirelli production), the Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse (La Bohème, Don
Pasquale), the Vlamsee Opera in Antwerp (Don Carlo), the Savonlinna
Opera Festival (Lucia di Lammermoor), the Teatro Municipal in Santiago, Chile
(Un Ballo in Maschera and Macbeth). Among his past engagements,
it is worth mentioning: Don Carlo with Zubin Mehta and the Israel
Philharmonic; Conte di Luna in Il Trovatore in Ravenna and then
on tour in Italy; Macbeth for the 2012 season’s opening night at the
Teatro dell' Opera in Rome under the baton of Riccardo Muti; Le Nozze di
Figaro in Cardiff; Attila at the Terme di Caracalla
in Rome; Belisario(title role) and Maria di Rudenz (Corrado
Waldorf) for the season’s openings at the Bergamo Musica Festival in 2012 and 2013.
Mr Dario Solari recently performed Macbeth at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna
(R. Abbado conducting and R. Wilson directing), in Florence at the Teatro alla Pergola
in its original 1847 version (J. Conlon conducting and G. Vick directing), in Kiel
and in Copenhagen where he also sang Les Vêpres siciliennes; Nabucco at
the Florida Grand Opera in Miami; Manon Lescaut (Lescaut) and Pagliacci
at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; Simon Boccanegra title role
in Toulon. Plans include: Nabucco in Kiel, Le Nozze di Figaro and Dom
Sébastien in Toulouse; Macbeth in Bologna; Stiffelio in
Frankfurt.

Annunziata Vestri - Suzuki*
Winner of “Lauri Volpi”, “Maria Caniglia” and Rosertum Lyric Contests, Mrs Vestri
made her debut in 2003 as Suzuki in Madama Butterfly. An eclectic artist
with bold acting qualities, she can boast a huge repertoire that spans from Bel
Canto to Verdi and Puccini’s masterpieces. Annunziata Vestri regularly collaborates
with theaters such as: Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin, Maggio
Musicale in Florence, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, San Carlo in Naples, Opéra de
Montecarlo, Teatro Regio in Parma, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Sferisterio
Opera Festival in Macerata, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. Mrs. Vestri lately
sang: Donizetti's Belisario and Torquato Tasso at
the Bergamo Musica Festival; Cilea's L’Arlesiana at the Wexford
Festival Opera and at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi; La Clemenza di Tito in
Trieste; Rigoletto in Naples; Carmen in Livorno,
Lucca and Genoa; Il Trovatore in Schenkenberg; La Traviata
in Bari; Madama Butterfly in Kiel and Bari; Andrea Chénier (Madelon)
in Naples; Aida (Amneris) in St. Margarethen and in Kazan; Falstaff
in Marseille. Mrs. Vestri made her film debut performing as Tisbe in La Cenerentola for
the Opera movie directed by Carlo Verdone, conducted by Gelmetti and produced by
Rada Film.
Annunziata Vestri future engagements include: Guglielmo Ratcliff at
the Wexford Festival Opera; Carmen, Suor Angelica and Falstaff at
the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Monte
Carlo; La Cenerentola at the Massimo in Palermo.
