After studying at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Daniele
Terenzi furthered his training at the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido
Domingo at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, the Opera Studio
of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and at the Auditorium de Tenerife. He
won the “Enrico Caruso” Prize in 2013 and the prestigious AsLiCo
Competition in 2017 for the role of Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, a
role he performed in all the theaters of the circuit.
Among his early engagements were: La Traviata in Rome; Il
Barbiere di Siviglia with the Europa Incanto Association in Treviso
and Rome; and Die Zauberflöte at the Teatro Duse in Bologna and
the Teatro Luciano Pavarotti in Modena with the Fantateatro theatre
company.
He later took part in productions at major international theaters and
festivals including: Teatro Regio di Torino; Teatro dell’Opera di Roma;
Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa; Teatro del
Maggio Musicale Fiorentino; Teatro Regio di Parma; Teatro Comunale di
Modena; Festival della Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca; Mascagni Festival
in Livorno; Opéra national de Lorraine; Opéra de Lyon; Festival
d’Aix-en-Provence; National Theatre of Tirana; Ópera de Tenerife; National
Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai; Royal Opera House Muscat; as
well as tours in New York and South Korea.
Among the roles he has performed are: Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro;
Fiorello and Leporello in Don Giovanni; Doctor Malatesta in Don
Pasquale; Schaunard in La Bohème; Sharpless in Madama
Butterfly; Giorgio Germont in La Traviata; the Sacristan in
Tosca; Count Ceprano and Marullo in Rigoletto; Morales in Carmen;
Alfio in Cavalleria Rusticana; the title role in Gianni
Schicchi; Prosdocimo in Il Turco in Italia; Dandini in La
Cenerentola; Der Lautsprecher in Ullmann’s Der Kaiser von
Atlantis; and Albert in Halévy’s La Juive.
He maintains an ongoing collaboration with the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari,
where he has sung in La Bohème, Don Giovanni, Il
Barbiere di Siviglia, Rigoletto, Lucrezia Borgia, Lo
Schiavo by Gomes, Turandot by Busoni, and the pastiche L’Ape
Musicale.
On the concert stage, notable appearances include: Mascagni’s Messa
di Gloria and Orff’s Carmina Burana at the Teatro Lirico di
Cagliari; concerts in Italy and Oman with the Pavarotti Foundation of
Modena; and gala concerts at the Teatro Regio di Parma with the
Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini and at the National Theatre of Montenegro.
Among his upcoming engagements for the 2025-26 season are: a new
production of Tosca at the Teatro Politeama in Prato, and La
Bohème at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi.
