Francesco Vultaggio – Figaro
Young and up and coming baritone Francesco Vultaggio attended the Accademia Rossiniana
in Pesaro with Alberto Zedda and he is furthering his studies under the guidance
of Simone Alaimo. Among his recent engagements, it is worth mentioning: Viaggio a
Reims(Don Profondo) at the Rossini Opera Festival; Le convenienze ed inconvenienze
teatrali and Le nozze di Figaro (Conte d’Almaviva) at the Teatro
Bellini in Catania, L’elisir d’amore (Belcore and Dulcamara) in the AsLiCo
circuit and in Trento, Il barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro) for the AsLiCo;Così
fan tutte (Don Alfonso) in Liverpool; Il cappello di paglia di Firenze
at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; Il Maestro di Cappella in Palermo; Il Turco
in Italia in Catania; La Serva Padrona in Trapani; La Bohème
(Marcello) in Ancona. Plans include L’Elisir d’Amore (Belcore) on tour in
Oman with the Teatro La Fenice in Venice.

Luca Dall’Amico - Don Basilio
Among the most interesting singers of the new generation, young and upcoming bass
Luca Dall’Amico was chosen by Riccardo Muti for the role of Agamemnon in Iphigénie
en Aulide at the Opera in Rome. Right after he made his debut at La Scala
in Milan in Assassinio nella Cattedrale by Pizzetti. Among his past commitments:
La Cambiale di Matrimonio and L’Education Manqué at the Wexford Festival,
La Sonnambula in Graz, La Forza del Destino and I Lombardi alla Prima
Crociata at the Sferisterio in Macerata, L’Italiana in Algeri in
Vicenza and Il Trovatore in Ravenna. Luca Dall’Amico regularly worked with
conductors as Riccardo Muti, James Conlon, Bruno Bartoletti, Corrado Rovaris, Gianluigi
Gelmetti. Particularly appreciated for his remarkable stage presence, Luca Dall’Amico
performed in Macbeth Nabucco under the baton of Riccardo Muti at the
Teatro dell'Opera in Rome; Le Nozze di Figaro in Ancona; Barbiere di Siviglia,
La Traviata, Rigoletto, La Bohème, L’Africaine, La Clemenza di Tito in Venice;
Madama Butterfly and Tosca in Torre del Lago; Petite Messe Solennelle
in Rome. Luca Dall’Amico starred in concert at the Ravenna Festival, Riccardo Muti
conducting, and again with Muti in Chicago with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Recent engagements include Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Simon Boccanegra and
I Capuleti e i Montecchi in Venice; Les Pécheures des Perles at the
Teatro Regio in Parma; Aida (Ramphis) in St. Margarethen; Il Campiello
in Florence; Rossini’s Stabat Mater in Liverpool; Don Giovanni (title
role) in Vicenza and Treviso; Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Florence; Luca Dall'Amico
was on tour in Japan with the Teatro dell'Opera in Roma, singing in Simon Boccanegra
and Nabucco.
Future plans include : La Bohème in Ravenna and Vilnius; Lucia di Lammermoor
in Modena and at the Teatro Regio in Parma; Falstaff in Chicago and Turandot
in Liège.

Daniele Terenzi - Fiorello
Daniele Terenzi was born in 1989 and he started studying singing at the Accademia
Interamnense, then at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome and after that
at the Centre de Perfeccionament Placido Domingo in Valencia. Daniele Terenzi won
in 2013 Enrico Caruso International Prize.
Amongst his past engagements it is worth mentioning a series of concerts in Rome,
he performed Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Teatro Argenitina and
Valli in Rome and at the Teatro Comunale in Treviso. Daniele Terenzi sang Papageno
in Die Zauberflöte and Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Teatro
Duse in Bologna and again Die Zauberflöte at the Teatro Comunale Luciano
Pavarotti in Modena. Amongst recent engagements it is worth mentioning: Figaro in
Le Nozze di Figaro and his debut as Leporello in Don Giovanni in Tirana;
Germont in La Traviata with Europa InCanto at the Teatro Argentina in Rome.
Plans include a Gala concert in Parma.

Francesco Calcagnini - director
Was born in Pesaro and graduated in 1985 in set design at the Academy of Fine Arts
in Urbino. He combines both set and costume design in speaking theatre, opera and
ballet with his position as professor in Set Design at the Urbino Academy of Fine
Arts. He has collaborated with directors including Raffaella Giordano, Giorgio Rossi,
Lorenza Codignola, Stefano Vizioli, Pino Micol, Federico Tiezzi, Gabriele Vacis,
Antonio Calenda, Dario Fo, Emilio Sagi and Luca Ronconi. Latest productions include:
Yvonne Princesse de Bourgogne at Det Norske Teatret in Oslo with the
Director Cilla Back; revival at Rossini Opera Festival and Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao
of L'Equivoco Stravagante with Director Emilio Sagi; Passage to India
with Director Federico Tiezzi at Teatro Metastasio in Prato; set and costumes
for El laboratorio del Dr. Fausto at the Teatro Real in Madrid and with Director
Guy Montavon Stiffelio at Teatro Regio di Parma and Otello at Theater
Erfurt. Future plans include Stiffelio in Bilbao, Il Barbiere di Siviglia
at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome; Luisa Miller in Erfurt.
