Rosa Bove - Semira
Young mezzosoprano, a specialist of Baroque repertoire, she recently sang Ozias in Vivaldi’s Juditha Triumphans at the Soli Deo Gloria Festival in Braunschweig and at the Beaune Festival, with Modo Antiquo and Federico Maria Sardelli and Cardella in Pergolesi’s Lo Frate ’Nnamurato in Jesi with Europa Galante and Fabio Biondi. She made her debut at the Garsington Opera Festival as Aristea in a new production of Vivaldi’s L’Olimpiade, under the baton of Lawrence Cummings. Amongst her future plans it is worth mentioning Duruflé’s Requiem with the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino under Francesco Cilluffo.
Antonio Giovannini - Megabise
Among the most up-and-coming countertenors of the young generation, he regularly collaborates with the most important baroque conductors and is regularly invited by Riccardo Muti. His future plans include: Orff’s Carmina burana with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under Riccardo Muti in Chicago and New York (Carnegie Hall); Agrippina (Ottone) in Kiel under Rubén Dubrovsky; Handel’s Siroe (Medarse) at the Händel-Festspiele Göttingen under Lawrence Cummings; concerts in Schwetzingen.
