Since her debut in Spoleto, Cinzia Forte has performed in the most important opera houses and concert halls in Italy and abroad. She is regularly invited by such theatres as the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and opera houses in Naples, Venice, Rome, Bologna, Palermo, Turin, Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Royal Opera House in London, Royal Concertgebouw and Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, La Maestranza in Seville, Zurich Opernhaus, New National Theatre in Tokyo, Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, São Carlos in Lisbon and Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Graduated in Voice and Piano, Cinzia Forte won several international competitions, such as the "Giacomo Lauri Volpi" in Latina and the "A. Belli" in Spoleto.

Outstanding exponent of the lyric and coloratura repertoire, she is particularly appreciated for her interpretations of belcanto operas by Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini, Mozart's operas and such French operas as Manon and Roméo et Juliette. Her repertory includes the main roles of: Lucia di Lammermoor; La Sonnambula; Don Pasquale; L'Elisir d'Amore; La Fille du Régiment; Le Comte Ory; Il Viaggio a Reims; Il Turco in Italia; La Gazzetta; La Gazza Ladra; Tancredi; Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna); Così Fan Tutte (Despina); Die Zauberflöte (Pamina); La Traviata (Violetta); Rigoletto (Gilda); Un Ballo in Maschera (Oscar); and Falstaff (Nannetta). She regularly collaborates with such prestigious conductors as Claudio Abbado, Bruno Campanella, Riccardo Chailly, Myung-Whun Chung, Jésus Lopez-Cobos, Daniele Gatti, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Jeffrey Tate and Réne Jacobs, and internationally renowned directors Roberto De Simone, Willy Decker, Dario Fo, Michael Hampe, Mario Martone, Jonathan Miller, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Luca Ronconi, Emilio Sagi, Jérôme Savary, Graham Vick, Franco Zeffirelli.

Ms. Forte enjoys numerous collaborations, including: La Traviata (Violetta) at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome staged by Franco Zeffirelli and conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti, at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Palm Beach Lyric Opera and the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège; La Fille du Régiment (Marie) at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome; Falstaff (Nannetta) at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna; Carmen (Micaela) and The Merry Widow at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and a highly successful concert tour in Chile under the baton of Maurizio Benini; Lucia di Lammermoor (title role) at the Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam; Orphée aux Enfers (Eurydice) at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari; Il Matrimonio Segreto (Carolina) in Liège; La Gazza Ladra (Ninetta) with the Japan Opera Foundation in Tokyo; Medée (Glauce) at the Teatro Regio in Turin; Mozart/Strauss's Idomeneo (Ilia), recorded by Dynamic and performed at the Teatro Real in Madrid; Henze's Phaedra (Aphrodite) at the Maggio Musicale in Florence; L'Elisir d'Amore and Carmen at the Arena in Verona; Rigoletto and Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna) in Madrid; and Don Giovanni (Donna Anna) in Oviedo.

She appeared in Rigoletto (Gilda) in Liège and Charleroi; La Traviata (Violetta) in an ORW- Liège production in Tel Aviv; and Don Pasquale (Norina) for the opening night of the 2011 season at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florence. She also adds two important roles to her repertoire: La contessa d'Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro (Liège) and Anna Bolena (title role, in Trieste).  In Palermo she sang the Missa solemnis under the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti. She performed as Violetta in La Traviata and Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna) at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples  and at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Otello in Pisa and in Cagliari, Mozart Requiem at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.  

Mrs. Forte recently performed Rossini's Stabat Mater in Trieste, Ljubljana, in Monte CarloBratislava and Budapest under the baton of Gianluigi Gelmetti; Il Furioso all'Isola di San Domingo for the opening night season at the Donizetti Musica Festival in Bergamo (then on tour in Italy); Rigoletto (Gilda) at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Fabio Luisi conducting; Fidelio and La Gazzetta in Liège; Madama Butterfly in Cosenza and Sassari; Il Turco in Italia in Treviso and Ferrara; Orfeo ed Euridice in Trieste and Naples; Bianca and Falliero in Bad Wildbad; Liederabend with Maurizio Baglini in Castiglioncello del Trinoro.  Most recently: revivals of La Traviata and Le nozze di Figaro (Contessa) at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Otello and La Bohème (Musetta) in Liege; Liederabend in Tuscany and in Treviso with Maurizio Baglini. Again with Maurizio Baglini she performed Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony (Liszt’s version) at the Auditorium in Milan; Alice in Verdi’s Falstaff in Cagliari; La Bohème (Musetta) in Parma; La Gazzetta on tour in Tel Aviv with the Opéra Royal de Wallonie and Otello in Liège; Leo's L'olimpiade (Aristea) in Naples.
