Bruno Campanella is considered one of the leading interpreters of the
Italian opera repertoire, enjoying prolific long-time collaborations with
the world's most important opera houses. A bel canto repertoire
specialist, he is an esteemed interpreter of Rossini, Donizetti
and Bellini operas. His repertoire also includes works by Verdi,
Stravinsky, Britten and Rota.
He was Music Director of the Orchestra del Teatro Regio in Turin from
1992 to 1995, conducting, among others: L’ajo nell’imbarazzo, Il
