Born in Moscow, Russian mezzo Anastasia Boldyreva in the latest seasons has estabilished herself as one of the most talented singer of the operatic scene, in Italy and abroad. She has already worked with such conductors as Zubin Mehta, Gianandrea Noseda, Michele Mariotti, Daniel Oren, Pinchas Steinberg, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Bernard de Billy and Donato Renzetti. She began her studies in singing with Igor Chernov, she attended Conservatory Tchaikovsky in Moscow and then she studied under the guidance of Bernadette Manca di Nissa at Maggio Musicale in Florence. She also attended the European Academy of Aix-en-Provence Festival, where she was awarded with the participation in the international tour HSBC young artists. She has been awarded at several international contests, including the Giulio Neri Competition, the Piccollomini Competition and the Ferruccio Tagliavini Competition in Graz (Austria). In August 2016 Anastasia Boldyreva had her debut at Arena di Verona, performing the title role in Carmen and the role of Amneris in Aida, under the baton of Daniel Oren and Andrea Battistoni. Among the most important production she has been in, it must ne mentioned Mrs. Quickly in Falstaff at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Cavalleria Rusticana at Teatro Comunale in Bologna under the baton of Michele Mariotti, Andrea Chenier at Carlo Felice with Daniel Oren, Prokofiev's Alexander Nevskij, conductor Michail Jurowski, at Teatro San Carlo in Naples and at Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Madama Butterfly at Teatro dell'Opera in Rome and at the Terme di Caracalla, La fiaba di Don Carlo (Principessa Eboli), inspired from Verdi's opera and in a production by Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira) in Lucca; Rigoletto (Maddalena) at Festival Varese Ligure, La traviata at Opera di Firenze conducted by Zubin Mehta. Latest performances: Carmen (title role) at Teatro Galli in Rimini; Rigoletto (Maddalena) at Teatro Lirico in Cagliari; Aida at Aspendos Festival; Sancta Susanna (Klementia) and Suor Angelica (Zia Principessa), Cavalleria Rusticana at Teatro Lirico in Cagliari; Rigoletto (Maddalena) along side Leo Nucci at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa; Yevgeny Onegin (Olga) at Teatro Verdi in Trieste; Aida (Amneris) at Arena di Verona under the baton of Andrea Battistoni, Un ballo in maschera (Ulrica) at Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Rigoletto at Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Rigoletto on tour in Japan with the Teatro Comunale di Bologna; the IXth Symphony by Beethoven with Riccardo Muti at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens and at the Ravenna Festival.
Other recent projects: Carmen and Aida (Amneris) at Aspendos Festival 26th in Antalya, Turkey with Fabrizio Maria Carminati; Aida (Amneris) at Teatro Verdi in Trieste; Beethoven's Ninth Symphony in Ravenna and Athens under Riccardo Muti; Cavalleria Rusticana and Suor Angelica in Livorno, Novara, Rovigo; Carmen and La Traviata  in Catania; Rigoletto in Taormina; Wesendonk Lieder in Maribor; Liederabend in Rome; La Fille du Règiment in Cagliari; Nabucco in Tbilisi.
Plans include Rigoletto in Trieste and at the Filarmonico in Verona; Cavalleria Rusticana in Turin.
